Ad hoc 2+2 Committee
The ad hoc 2+2 committee is charged with developing the capacity to establish 2+2 articulation agreements. The committee will provide a report with recommendations regarding:
- PSC programs suitable for 2+2 articulation agreements
- Four-year institutions with which to partner on 2+2 articulation agreements
- Guidelines/processes for establishing, maintaining, and evaluating effective 2+2 articulation agreements
Ad hoc GEF/Online Committee
The Provost's Office has put the work of this committee on hold due to personnel
changes in Morgantown which are needed to provide input.
The ad hoc GEF/Online committee will work with WVU Online to develop PSC's capacity to regularly deliver online GEF coursework for students on all WVU campuses. The committee will provide a report with recommendations regarding:
- GEF courses to be delivered online
- Development schedule for courses not yet developed
- Process for evaluating online GEF course offerings
- Solution for tuition and fee assessment across campuses
- Solution for registration/enrollment across campuses
- Required staff position(s) or other support for expansion
Ad hoc Workload Review Committee
The ad hoc Workload Review Committee will work to determine the feasibility of adjusting the PSC faculty teaching load to 4-4. The committee will provide a report that:
- Identifies associate's-granting institutions of comparable size and summarizes faculty workloads
- Estimates number of additional faculty lines needed to cover current course offerings with reduced teaching load for all faculty
- Estimates cost for overload at
- Current faculty number
- Current course offerings
- Reduced teaching load for all faculty
Ad hoc Professional Advising Review Committee
The
ad hoc Professional Advising Review Committee will work to determine
the feasibility of moving all academic advising to professional advisors.
The committee will provide a report with recommendations regarding:
- Number of professional advisors needed to serve current student enrollment
- Number of students per professional advisor
- Minimum cost incurred for additional advisors needed
- Cost of professional advising as related to revenue gains from increased student retention
